Unfortunately the 2020 penultimate event in the World Rally Championship has had to be cancelled.

Belgium was due to host the FIA World Rally Championship for the first time but directions from regional Belgium government mean organiser Club Superstage was forced to halt the season’s penultimate round on October the 30th.

The asphalt event in Belgium was due to run on November 19- 22.

This is bad news for Britain's Elfyn Evans as he would have been first on the road as championship leader. He would have had an advantage on clean roads while dragging dirt onto the road for following crews by cutting corners.

Jan Huyghe from Club Superstage said:

“At the moment, the health of the population, of the staff in the care sector, of our employees and volunteers, of the participants and of all rally fans comes first,” he said.
